Identity and address documents

Prepare your valid driver’s licence, South African ID or valid passport and work permit, plus proof of address dated within the last three months.

Proof of income

Employed applicants need three months of payslips and bank statements. Business owners and self-employed applicants need six months of bank statements. Review the application process before applying.

Can I apply if I am blacklisted?

Yes. WheelWish welcomes applications from blacklisted individuals and people with low credit scores. You must still meet the income and upfront fee requirements and provide the documents needed for assessment.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. Every application is subject to assessment. The vehicle, affordability and supporting information must be confirmed before final approval. Meeting the starting requirements does not guarantee acceptance.

Can I apply with no upfront payment?

An upfront initiation fee of at least 20% of the vehicle’s value is required. For a vehicle valued at R200,000, that means at least R40,000 upfront, in addition to the agreed monthly payments.

Can I apply if I am self-employed?

Yes. Business owners and self-employed applicants can apply, subject to the same assessment process and applicable requirements. Prepare six months of bank statements to support your application.
